My rear seat cig lighter has been nonfunctioning for almost 6 months. My 2 year old dropped a hair clip in it and it must have shorted. I checked the fuses on the driver side of the dash, but those are all intact.

Check the passenger side of the dash. If it's not there, look at the two fuse panels on either side of the trunk.

if you use as a cell phone charger port as I do then proceed as indicated.

I'm not sure about this, but is it possible that locking out the rear window operation(if you've done that) also turns off the cig lighter?
