Hi all,
Finally got the car back after 4 weeks of painful waiting...body shop did an excellent job paint wise, but now all the major electronic items aren't working...
TURN SIGNALS
Door locks
ALL windows
Adaptive cruise
Air suspension stuck in comfort
rear sunshade inoperative
THe MMI itself works fine, I can play music/connect bluetooth etc. Really upset at the whole incident since the car has been absolutely trouble free until someone else touches it
any ideas on what might be going on??
Went to technician who said I have to come back for another look, but his initial preview showed faults in the comfort access module and low battery warnings all across....

Sounds like maybe not. Start there first. Some of the items you mentioned are sacrificed by the power mngt system when the battery juice runs low. Below 50% and it starts to take out a fair number of non critical systems.
Adaptive I might be suspicious of though since that sensor is of course right in the nose of the car.

Yes battery is charged 100 percent. I rechecked adaptive suspension, it seems fine for now. The turn signals are weird, it flashes in the side and front, but the back signals dont work at all! Also when I press the brake pedal the brake lights do not come on.
Really not sure what's going on. I'm only worried that insurance is not going to cover this, sounds like an expensive and extensive repair job...

I would think that rear brake lights were working before you dropped the car off. So I would suspect some of the wiring harnesses aren't hooked up.

sensor is right behind bumper cover, which I was guessing in a deer hit would have been removed/replaced. Similarly on your other lighting stuff--fooling w/ front lights may have either shorted something or gotten miswired somehow (if they disassembled connectors themselves), which could affect lighting elsewhere.
