I had my 2005 SWB in yesterday to the dealer for a service and for the hooting transmission. They did a nice job, I am very pleased. According to them, this is what the TSB calls for:
*Flush tranny fluid
*Replacement of existing transmission fluid (some really expensive blue stuff -- they said the fluid itself is $1k...not sure I buy it)
*Update transmission software
They did say that it could keep doing it for 300 to 500 miles as the fluid gets all the way through. Mine was quiet after their work, I think they did a throrough job. (Work done by MAG in Columbus, OH).
Just fyi

Any further problems? I just had mine done. I have about 36000 miles on it now, same year as your car, I believe (2005 swb with bluetooth)
