I need to install an Audi TV Tuner in my 2007 A8L W12 with the rear seat entertainment package and trunk DVD changer. I don't need to worry about the antenna hookups because I will only use the Aux video inputs of the TV tuner.

I can't tell just from looking whether I need to remove any trim, how I remove the DVD changer, and if I will need to remove anyting else to get access to the FBAS video switching module that has the 2 FBAS/FAKRA inputs (1 from rear camera/1 from TV tuner) and output (to front MMI controller).

On a US spec D3, I'm assuming the FBAS video switching module in the same left side component rack as the DVD navigation drive, DVD changer and all the other modules. Is this correct?

Does anyone have any Audi documentation on getting access to that component rack (whether it's for a TV tuner install or anything else)?

Any help would greatly appreciated.

It looks like the device I need to get to might be called the Camera Control unit (4E0 910 441) pictured below.

Does anyone know where it is on a D3?

Any instructions on how to get to it would be greatly appreciated (especially how to get past the boot/trunk DVD changer).
