Help...thinking of retrofitting S8 bumper to 06 A8 front, some questions..
Hi All,
well after 100000km of awesomeness, thought I update her looks for abit. I know some of you get abit sensitive with the whole S8 poseur thing, but im leaving out the S8 grill, badges or any chrome mirrors. I just really like the lower spoiler look of the S8 front bumper. So here are some questions for those been down the route..
1. Does the A8 front fender differ from the S8 fender? does it need to be changed to accomodate the S8 front bumper?
2. does the standard A8 grill fit the front bumper of the S8?
3. where did u get it done? dealer or local tuning shop?
4. estimate cost?
5. I really like the W12/S8 LED headlights as well, dealer is quoting 1000 EACH!! are there better alternatives?

A few answers...
The fenders are the same - there are several versions of the S8 bumperskin and related foglights and hardware so make sure they all match up - you will find that they don't interchange
The various grilles all fit
my local shop did the paint & R/R.... well worth the money... about 3k all in for the skin, fogs and grille painted & installed.
there is a guy on the boartd selling a set of te W12 lights... look a bit further down.
