hi guys,

i tried opening my bonnet this morning and when i pulled the lever it has come loose. i think the cable may have come off from the lever or the lever has broken. but the lever is now loose and there is no way to open the bonnet.

im assuming i can get to it by removing the panel under the steering wheel....?

hi guys just a quick note, i removed the cover from under the steering wheel and found that the cable has snapped at the point where it connects to the opening lever.

does anyone know how to replace the cable? and a price for the cable?

i assumed by Fig 5 that the cable was routed within the fender, but it turned out its not, it within the bonnet, so i manged after 1hour to pull the black box and bonnet poped and replaced with new cable from audi.

the cable was £11.99 but my labour estimated out at £3000 lol

but at least its fixed now.
