how do I update my MMI? I have an 04 A8L

I have an 04 A8L. How do I upgrade my MMI? I would like to buy new navi disks because my neighborhood isn't available. I know I have to buy Nateq disks. But what is my first step with the MMI and how do I upgrade? I am worried about F%$#@ing up my car.

That's as good a place to start as any, and if you stick with that post you will eventually find the relevant TSB's (instructions) as well. Report back when up to speed w/ accumulated learning and issues from there. And yes, when you get to today's updates there (which I posted), if you are on a true 2004 v4 Nav disk, indeed you will be required to update it (to at least v5) in order to update MMI to the current rev.
