Probably a dumb question but I am trying to install a xm module in my 2004 and I have all of the wires in the trunk. I am having trouble with the wire that has the fiber optic loop on it. I pulled on the loop and where it connects but I cant seem to take it off and I didn't want to break it. Is there some sort of trick or am I just not pulling hard enough?

There is a small clip in the side or middle of the MOST connector that has to be pushed in to release.
It's very similar to the antenna cable connector.

The other connectors have clips on the side that you squeeze.

Cool I got it thanks! I was trying to do it at night with a flashlight and in the daytime it is much easier to see

Helped a buddy retrofit NAV in his A6.
After dark.
In 100 degree heat.
