good day all,

sent car in for 55000KM service on thursday morning. Got a loaner A4, came back next day around 2 pm to check on car and was doing a quick walk around and WT**** bloody hell! I just got the rear bumper repainted after some road rash had greyed out on lower areas/ other small scratches that had accumulated and there was a nice scuff on the side of bumper.

Told the tech that was working on it and of course immdediate defensive attitude comes up..OHHHHH LOOK theres dirt over the scratch so it must have been before you dropped it off...right. Spoke to service advisor and displayed my irritation quite clearly, hopefully by monday things will get sorted out. Car was repainted exactly a week ago btw. I think this dealership officially hates me now. Last time I told them strictly not to wash my car and they did. The result? Made them pay for a 400 dollar 3 stage compound/cut/polish.

any ding, paint scratch, etc. Of course, knock on wood, mine is still in perfect condition after almost 4 years thru parking at distant distances in parking lots, under cover parking during day job, etc.

We both review it and I sign it.

My car is always washed and spotless when I pick it up from service.

Took my .. new-to-me A8 in .. and get it back dirty with 2 new dents in the hood .. obviously where someone opened it and hit a hanginf tool or something .. Unreal!!

The walk around on arrival is a Great Idea .. just wouls think that the dealer would treat an A8 with some amount of care!
