Ignition Coil Failure on 2005 A8
My car started running very rough, almost felt like stalling out at idle. Check engine light on. They found spark plugs 6 and 7 misfiring, and ignition coil for cylinder 7 failed. I had complained of a slightly lumpy idle for a while (told was normal) and actually posted here about A/C extracting too much power; now she is much smoother, and more torquey, even with A/C. So...I probably have had faulty plugs for a while. 3400 miles

I'm surprised some of the more "techy-ish" on the board didn't pick that up..
as the problem, but yet I'm not sure I've ever heard/seen that particular problem on D2's let alone D3's.
