I'm mystified with the amount of "up-badging" I see..... is this just a S. FL trend ?

I respect that we all have different tastes and visons for our cars ( and mine certainly bears some critisism rightly so perhaps), but why blatantly try to represent your car as something it's clearly not.
rant off....

Totally ridiculous and tacky if you ask me. You either have an S/W12/V10 or you dont. Anyone doing that is a poser and has some self esteem issues.
I respect a person's right to have indiviual tastes, but trying to make others think you have a more expesnive car is not a stylistic choice, its being fake.
Id rather see someone de-badge an Audi rather than up-badge.

I know it's not a W12 because I had to show the techs where the badges went. It's the only one I know of in town though.
