in this case it may not be the phone, curtis hasnt said that any phone actually connects, he has the phone prep rather than the full bluetooth module (which i guess is why the update for the BTA wouldnt update), so it may well depend on which module he has, many people have got a connection but there are several versions out there. some connect easily with the newer phones others dont
as you dont have acces to vcds take a look at your build sticker inside the cover of the maintanance scedule book there are a list of codes there
decode the codes by entering them on to here http://igorweb.org/equidec/Default.aspx
this will tell you which prep you have (hopefully)
on the other hand as quartz and mp4 say could be just be the damn iphone

Hi Guys just an update ive now tried to connect a friends htc to the car it finds the car tries to pair i enter 1234 in both but then the car says i need to enter the same code as the phone and if i think back it done the same for the samsung i just didnt have time to go any further with it at that time.
