You could recode it to 010010 but that doesn't mean it will go. It looks like it has a ton of gap but in truth, its just an illusion. If you install a more aggressive wheel tire combo (10.5 ET 40 on all 4 corners with a design that clears the brake calipers) and the taller rolling diameter tire option, then there would be almost no gap front and rear. Look at the car from a quarter view and you'll see what I mean.
If you're really dying to go lower w/o buying a module, there is one addtional method of moving the suspension sensors on the struts. Bear in mind however, you will have approx 2 - 2.5 inches of ground clearance. Not enough to clear most speed bumps.

To resurrect an old thread, I am about to do this to my D3 A8. For those of us wish Sport suspension, if I understand this correctly, Sport cars keep the same ride height in Comfort, as well as Dynamic modes. By that, should I assume that in Automatic, you thus keep the same ride height as well? So, doing the lowering procedure should affect the ride height in all modes except Lift. Further, regardless of how much you lower the car via this procedure, you should still retain the ability to fully raise the car in Lift mode, yes?

Lowering affects everything, even Lift mode. Lets say you lower the car 20mm then every mode is 20mm lower than stock setting. When putting it in lift mode, car will be raised 40mm (if I remember correctly), so since you lowered it 20mm, it will raise 40mm but will still be 20mm lower than it was before. And yes, sport cars have same ride height in all settings except Lift.

One more thing before I do this:
If you lower the front more than the rear (even by the common 5mm), do you have to recalibrate the headlight leveling then I'd assume?
