Just did the 'comfort windows/sunroof by remote' mod with VCDS.... BUT
....can't get it to include the sunroof (using the '15' coding). When coded for all (windows open/close and sunroof open/close), only the windows work off the remote. When coded for just sunroof (with '8' coding), no dice. Sunroof works just fine with usual roof mounted switch/dial... any thoughts?

Think it's in the section where you turn comfort open on in MMI; in the lock control section.
Can't recall 100% but don't think I ever got the sunroof to work - possibly due to very old MMI version.
Or it would close but not open.
Was before yesterday, memory is shot, and never used it except when testing the coding...

My sunroof tilts open & closes with the remote along with the windows. I have a very early '04 that was built in March of '03. Not aware of any selections in the MMI on my car. All done with Ross Tech software.

thanks for that. mine is '05 build and title, so not sure if we're different (MMI) or not... would be nice if I could do it, plus I like the way you can control how far the windows open or close, depending on how long you depress the button on the remote for. Pretty cool...
