Just sold my D3 S8 ... goodies for scavengers
Hi everyone,
Sad news here. Last night I sold my 2007 D3 S8. I already miss the car, but feel it was the right time for me to pull the trigger. Why? My schedule is a bit hectic and the car was exhibiting problems (7-8 year itch) that would have required tender love and care (and time is something I can't spare these days). Examples: Air suspension starting to act up, Automatic Cruise Control dysfunctional, Lift Gate motor starting to fail, Oil sensors going bad, etc. I'm sure these could have been resolved with a relatively modest investment, but my gut told me more was in store as the car is putting on some years.
The 1.25 years I had the car were quite glorious -- I put 26k miles on that car in that time. I really enjoyed this board and the professionalism and good nature of everyone. Hopefully, if my fate permits, I will wander back at some point into the S8 world.
I have some goodies for those who want to scavenge off me.
(1) I have an OEM outdoor car cover (only used 4 or 5 times, before the car went indoor). When I purchased this new from the Audi dealer, I paid $295.
I'm asking $195 (which includes shipping), or best offer.
(2) I also have a Ross Tech VCDS (which I ordered only 3 weeks ago). It works great (just used it last week). I ordered it from Europa Auto Parts, paid $350 bucks -- see https://www.europaparts.com/vag-com-...ross-tech.html Asking $300 (which will include shipping), or best offer.
I won't post these to EBAY for 3 days, to give time for forum folks to get first dibs.
