I was thinking along those lines... or at least not while the care is parked or at least has been parked for some period of time. However, I am not 100% certain how those systems operate.

A word to the wise, for what it's worth... Cops have been killed trying to 'help out' owners of high end cars that have locked their keys in, by trying to get in through the door down by the window with a 'slim jim'. I guess it depends on the age of the car, but if the door/curtain/seat side airbag gets triggered, it can send the slim jim up through the bottom jaw and into the skull of the well intentioned helper. Death is the usual result, and another hero lost. I'm not sure I'd want that on my conscience, or to clear it up.

Yeah, this is just BS. You cannot be killed doing this(except maybe by the guy whose car you just damaged). Snopes.com Slim Jim Myth

Just sounds. I wonder why that airbag choose only coops to kill? Or number of killed bad guys is unimportant? Or they are better with Slim Jim?

Too funny! Since you don't know, Snopes.com is a website that exists solely to prove or disprove the myriad urban legends posted around the net. They do the research so we don't have to. If you have any actual EVIDENCE to the contrary, I'm sure the NTSB would be interested.
