Latest Consumer Reports owner-satisfaction survey ranks Audi
#12
my last visit on my A6 didn't get washed....
and the dealer fuxored up a repair, which I had to get fixed. The service manager promptly took care of it. The ironic thing....I sent Audi an email saying he did such a good job fixing their mistake and they thanked me for the complement.
This was on my voice mail as I came home from picking up a new Toyota 4 Runner....

Where did Mercedes and BMW rank?
Lately, their quality and reliability has been substantially worse than Audi. Perhaps the survey is really about owner saisfaction (or dissatisfaction) and not actual reliability. Other than the QX56 (whose quality and reliability is also substantially worse than Audi), Infiniti always has done and still does well with Consumer Reports, at least from a quality and reliability stand point. Perhaps Infiniti dealers as of late have gone downhill considerably. Of course, Audi desperately needs to improve their dealers (facilites and especially staff) by a plethora of quantum leaps. BMW and Mercedes dealers are generally a mixed bag, but better than Audi and now Infiniti.

Where did Jaguar and BMW rank?
I just went to the CR website and surprisingly, there were no Audis (not even the somewhat imfamous C5 A6) on the repeat offenders list. And no Audis, Jaguars, Mercedes Benzes and BMWs on the best bets list. Two Jaguars (the highly infamous S Type and super infamous X Type), several Mercedes Benzes (too many to mention here) and one BMW (the 7 Series) were on the repeat offenders list. Perhaps the victimized Audi owners and potential future Audi owners (like me) who may also be victimized and who are sick and tired of Audi's bullsh*t should start an organization to force Audi to copy Lexus in the following: extrordinary customer service and treatment, the automotive equivalent to Bergdorf Goodman in facilites (based on my personal experience of numerous visitations to a plethora of department stores and men's stores and numerous visits to several Lexus and Audi dealerships) and extrordinary quality and reliability. Of course, this applies to both importers (i.e. Audi of America, Lexus of North America, Audi of Canada, Lexus of Canada, etcetera) and dealerships. But with no sacrifice in performance or driving pleasure, of course.
