I'm on the train right now, I have parked next to a D2 S8 before [saw that one again today], saw a Daytona Grey 2008-09, my 2007 and a D4 Black S8 with gunmetal 5 spoke rims.
Also was behind an A8L 4.2 on the highway on the way to the station.
More A8/S8 sightings than ever in one day!
Pretty cool...wanted to share.

You should go to Tallin or Riga. Every time I'm there I see at least a dozen or more D3's, a few D4's and a few D2's. Not even uncommon to see W12 and S8's, they are almost more common than "normal V8 models. You very seldom see a D3 V6 model here.
If you compare the income level between Finland from where I'm and Estonia, and compare the amount of luxury cars (A8, S-class, 7-series) in Helsinki and Tallin, tallin wins like 5:1.
A average (2006/7 4,2 with 180.000km) D3 costs like 30k€+ in Finland (we have like 50% car tax on these cars, I paid 19k tax on my 14k car!!!!!), while in tallin like 12k (no car-tax). An average Finn earns 2,5k/month, an average estonian like 0,6k. So they should be able to buy like half of the luxury cars we can in Finland, just an interesting thing to notice that we Finns don't usually buy expensive cars, compared to income level, as estonians do.
Was 10 days in Foggia in Italy, only saw like 3 D3's there, all black and V8, one L, all other "cars" were like Fiat's or other italian crap.
