Phaeton V8L 5,200 lbs, A8L 4,400 lbs. I photoshopped off the huge VW emblems. That's gotta shave off 50 pounds front and rear! :-)

And how much more power can be had from a twin-turbocharged 4.2 litre V8 compared to the RS6 version?
And any thoughts on whether an S8/RS8 would be available in short and/or long wheelbase models?
IMHO, Audi will have to raise the output to a degree in order to differentiate between a new S8/RS8 (whenever it shows up) and the C5 RS6, no? But if they don't, I'd still seriously consider it after my A8L lease is up!

and although I have not measured it I would assume the V10 is atleast 3 - 4 " longer than the V8. My guess would be a slightly larger displacement V8 with FSI and normally aspirated.

The controls are overly complicated, old 5 speed transmission, and i find the ride to be uncomfortable and un-natural in feel. Much like an overweight LS430.
