After 3 days of struggle(after work) , finally got past the upper control arms on the passenger side. Not is the straight arm turn- any suggestions on how to approach theball joint?
It seems to be stuck because of the design tight fit plus 10 years of dissimilar metal corrosion- how do we separate the ball joint from the knuckle without separating the insert in the knuckle?
Anyone has goodadvice before i mees it up?
Thanks
Svetlin

You would normally take a very heavy hammer and hit the side of the upright (the part that the tapered part sits in) to break the joint free. I only have some pictures on my computer, but if you can wack it with a very large hammer after removing the nut on the side that goes to the upright, that's usually how you break them free. The heavier the hammer the better....like a big mallet. Good luck.
