That sounds very optimistic to me. I hope you are right. Than, if you are, those are not much of a performance tires.

There are performance tires and there are 60K mile tires but there are no 60K mile performance tires

Ha! No I don't. I'm a lawyer for a tech company. I actually had to pay out of pocket transportation to attend the Pilot Super Sport test drive I described.

I was just sharing my experince because when compared with other tires in the same class, they were just so much better.

Agree with Brozee. These tires are not for everyone. This is a sticky sport tire. Some people use these for their daily drives and some save them for the track. These are the standard tires on Ferraris. If I drove a Ferrari I probably wouldn't care how often I changed tires. LOL

Another alternative is the Michelin Primacy MXM4. I have no idea why tire makers make the names so confusing. The Primacy MXM4 is a relatively new tire. I have two on the rear and they work great. I'm waiting for an older (noisier) Bridgestone set on the front to die. Anyone like the Primacy MXM4? I heard bad things about the MXV4 -- but apparently that was the old generation tire and totally different?

Personally I would not get the Pilot Super Sport for my daily drive. But if you are looking for a sport sticky -- these are better than the rest.

I know. That's just an effect of a good marketing. You where sold and now you work for them. But it sounds a bit too good to be truth.

I had high performance summer Michelin's. Performance was good. Probably better than the rest of them at the time. Only problem was that they lasted less than 15K miles. New ones are probably better, but, being engineer, I do not believe in technical miracles.
