I have Audi A8 D3 2009.
If I updated the navigation, then I updated the firmware is well? Or fermware need updating separately?

For the 2G MMI, the updating of the maps does not update the firmware of the system.

The latest firmware for the 2G is 46.1.0 (North America).

2009 already has the latest MMI software. Just insert new navigation DVD and it will update navigation and start using new maps.
