MMI center **** turns but cursor on the screen doens't move. Sterring wheel controls works fine. **** doesn't work on radio, nav, nothing.

Any ideas?

I just posted up above how I borrowed An A8...ironically this happened to me. Not only did the **** not work but nothing worked after turning the car off, yet the radio remained on.

I recall a msg in the MMI screen saying something about Gateway not found. I simply disconnected the battery for 30 secs. Doing it for longer will reset your radio code or so I'm told.

Fired her up and one by one each system came back on line. Took about 10 mins of driving before all features worked.
