Can someone offer some info.
I just purchased an Audi A8L 2004. It is a really nice car and I love it. This weekend I found that there are some missing options, within the MMI that I do not have. They include (adaptive air suspension - page 180; trip computer 1 - page 46; Tire Pressure monitoring - page 48; passenger seat adjustment - page 99; driver seat remote control key -page 104)
The page number is from the A8 manual that describes the options.
Under the "car" setup options I have:
Battery Level
Central Locking
Exterior Lighting
Instrument Cluster
Vehicle ID number
Windows
Windshield wipers
The version is:
SW
3-HU6546 10.7.0 0437
HW: D3-HU 6346 D2.0
FC SW: 03513AUFC78K0F53C
FC PS: 0100 FC HW: H42
I test drove many A8s and I could have sworn they had many of the options I am missing.
Many of my options appear to be software related. Is there a way that I could change or upgrade the software to gain access to these missing options.
Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you definitely have some options missing.
The suspension adjustment should be the home screen when you hit the car button. If it doesn't come up when you press "car" twice on the MMI, something's wrong.
Your software version is old. Have it updated to D3-HU 33.6.0 0632. I believe that is the current version. An Audi dealer can do this for you. If that doesn't solve the problem, the dealer may have to do some other reprogramming.

Thanks for the info. It is with Audi now, they were trying to update the software but were having issues. They are currently suspecting a defective MMI module.
Will let you know the final outcome.
