So I took my car to the dealer for some other work and while it was there I asked them to update my MMI to 3.3.60 so I could install my AMI. They told me they needed to special order a Gateway J533 CD as that needs to be loaded before they could to the 3.3.60 upgrade. I have not been able to find out anything about this and don't see any reference to this in any other post anout MMI upgrads. Any insight would be helpful.

Not sure what a J533CD is. When I did mine I took the part number to the service department and ordered it myself. When it came in I just followed the directions and was finished in about 1 hour. Cost of the CD was $10.

I've never heard of that gateway that you are speaking of. Although I know that the MMI update discs update all the MMI software as well as the bluetooth functionality as well. When my dealer performed the update they didn't charge me any extra for discs or anyting. Just one hour of labor.
