Since your location shows NY, as mishar pointed out your MMI is running the North American software version 1190

North America versions:

4140 (4.1.40) - {Update CD p/n 4L0 906 961 H}
4610 (4.6.10) - {Update CD set p/n 4F0 998 961}"

"European / ROW (Rest of the World) versions:
0890 (0.8.90) -

If you obtain the correct CD sets, you can run this yourself providing you follow the procedure to the letter.
Make sure you have a battery charger which gives at least 5amp charge, connected throughout - connection must be to the + terminal of the battery and to the ground post which is visible above the left hand end of the battery. Do not connect anything directly to the - (negative) terminal of the battery itself.

For the upgrade - there are many recent posts including the correct procedure - save to say - make sure everything other than the MMI is off and do not even open the door - keep the door open with the latch closed to turn off ALL ancillary items and do not operate anything electrical.

Allow a good couple of hours for the upgrade and remove all additional CD's from the changer before starting.
