If you turn off the radio (by pressing and holding the volume button)..
...the Nav screen will close. If it closed in this manner and the car is tuned off, it will NOT pop up when the car is turned on.

You can, of course, close the NAV screen with the radio on (using the button on the dash)...
...but it will re-open when if you turn the car off and back on....
...but I guess you know that..
