navigation question
I think I have a 08 nav disk. I replace it from ver 4. I kept everything in the trunk. When i gotting my MMI update at the dealer no disk seem to pop out of the nav dvd when I press the button but my nav still work. I cant find my case that the 08 came in. The ver 4 was in that case. Is it possible for my nav to still work without the disk? I am starting to think my dealer took both of them.

Re: navigation question
there has to be a disk for the nav to work. It is my understanding, however that there is some setting that the dealer can make which prevents the disk from ejecting. That sounds like what is happening to you. You may want to search for posts further down this forum for more info.
There is a huge improvement in content from version 4 to version 8, so make sure you're using the one you paid for.

Dan, is there special training for A8 techs, is your "master tech" status . . .
the highest level? What are the other levels? I ask all this because I'm moving and I want to know the right questions for to ask when working with a new dealer. Thanks.
