Default Need Driver's Seat Relay

Dealer has pronounced the relay dead for the driver's seat of my '07 A8L. All power functions nonresponsive. Anyone know a trusted source to obtain this relay? Regards and Happy Thanksgiving to all fellow Audi lovers.

How they did that? It could be fuse too. There are two of them for driver seat. They are together with the relay, behind the instrument panel. If they already got there to find fuses OK and relay dead why haven't they replace it? It is not expensive. I think it must be one of usual VW relays.

This is an excellent question. As you know, I have lost confidence in my dealer's service department and perhaps it is only a fuse and they are looking to churn fees, which they have proven to me that they do. Any way you can direct me to the spot behind the instrument panel? I have checked all fuses in the boxes on either end of the instrument panel/ dash board to no avail.
Regards,

As far as I remember they are just above drivers feet. You have to take out that part of trim in order to get to them. That's Audi special. Fuses and relays behind fixed trim. Don't ask.

Default It is the module - not the relay

It turns out that the problem was a shorted out module unit. My mechanic told me it was due to liquid damage and I immediately remembered spilling a drink out over the side of the cupholder and down onto/under the seat. I created this problem myself which actually makes me feel even better about the car. Now I need a seat module. Here are the number sequences on the existing module:
4E0 959 760 B 02
SW: 4E0 910 760D 0010
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Regards...

That was fast. Here they have it. Very expensive. http://www.ebay.com/itm/FRONT-SEAT-CONTROL-MODULE-Audi-A8-D3-2004-04-/141032708594?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20d63459f2&vxp=mtr it is cheaper if it works (pay with PayPal and it must work). I would offer half of that price and see.

Yeah, luckily the seat was frozen in a perfect position all this time so I have been in no hurry to spend the money, but my girlfriend is tired of sticking a pillow behind her back when she drives it. Thanks for the link!

You may swap the right one to the left seat. Just be sure to bring it to the position before that.
