It's not exact, but the 275/35/20 is roughly 27.6vs. the 255/40/19's 26.9
In fact my 285/33/20's are 27.9.
the point being by upsizing to the 275 in 20's you gain a bit of extra contact point without giving up much for protection, in fact the wider tire will offer better "curbing" protection...
