New Audi recall...oops I meant "service campaign IH"
as all the companies like to say now, whether Toyota or Audi.
Took my 2006 W12 in last week for its 25K maintenance, and the service manager said it needed the "IH Campaign" vehicle update. He was very friendly about it and I appreciated him being on top of it (Hector at Rector). From what I understand it is in the fuel evaporative system. From the repair tag it looks like it got a new evaporative canister. They were asking for the wheel lock key, saying to access it they needed to take a wheel off.
No symptoms, no code I saw. Nothing on the web about it or in any Audiword search I can find. I guessing it must be just getting underway. Don't know if it applies to 4.2's or S8's, or which other years.
