Default Came really hard

It had velcro on the sides and came out really hard. Velcro is supposed to be pulled apart not slid against itself. Definitely cleaned it out and glued the bottom back in the other side. In doing this, I had the whole assembly apart, including the lid and spring closer. It was a PITA, but I got the lid and spring back in place and it operates as it should.

My cupholder insert had several broken nubs (those tiny extruded arms on the back of the spring-loaded plastic bits that 'snug' your cup). Also, some of the nubs on the bottom of the main piece had also snapped off with age, so there was no repair option.

The cheapest new OEM replacement I found was on Amazon, just less than $80 (search part no. 4E1862553A4PK). I'm keeping most of my old pieces just in case I still own the car when, not if, the new cupholder needs to be rebuilt.
