Nitrogen in Tires

I know nitrogen has been used in tires for a long time, I have a WWII B-25 pilot client, and he told me during the last 2-3 years of WWII, when it was available, all of the bombers in his group had nitrogen in the tires.
Where I live, it can be 25 at night and warm up to 70 in day, and I see a lot of fluctuation in tire pressure with air, and with nitrogen in my audi and p-car, I don't have that.
Realizing that air, already has a lot of Nitrogen in it, maybe that additional percentage, may help, but if it makes my tires last longer, I'm all about it.

I towed the rally car through Lubbock back in August on my way to Colorado
was wondering if there was any locals guys!
