On an unrelated note, is this the only seal needed to be replaced in the transmission? Mine seems to be a bit erratic and oversensitive at low speeds, but does not slip or have rpm fluctuations that I've noticed, and this again seems to be suspected as a common issue. 09E325443A

Yes, that is these above the valve body (Mechatronics). Besides the pan gasket, filter and oil, all you need is that one seal if you want to dive in that next level deeper.

Your post is an older one, however I know of a shop in Virginia. A bit of a distance from Boston, but worth the trip.
