Default OK, I'm conflicted about ordering the ventilated seats with the cream interior...

...My concern is that the perferations in the light colored leather will somehow tend to get caked with debris and look dark after leather cleaner/conditioner is applied. Anyone with a light interior/ventilated seat combo that can address this concern? TIA

Default What if you put a set of black rubber mats over the seats.

At least it would be color-coordinated! FWIW, I have seen light-colored interiors with the perfs and with a little care, youll be fine!

Default Nah, just want the exterior to be black ;-) I suppose as long as the seats don't get too dirty...

...there shouldn't be a problem. Thanks!

Default Im thinking that some small amount of air through the perfs

might actually dislodge dust and small particles.

Default I'm sure you're right, but my initial concern was when cleaning...

...the now dirt-infused moisture from the leather cleaner could get trapped in the perforations. I do sweat the details before I order a car--hopefully not so much with ventilated seats :-)

Default Your image of "caked with debris" is scary

As good fortune and strict passenger policies would have it, no spills and caked debris, so far. I have had the tan, ventilated seats for almost a year now and they look like new with little or no maintanence. I could, however, imagine a nightmare scenario with those teeny, tiny holes stuffed with chocolate. Caveat emptor, I guess.

I'm probably overthinking the issue, but stuff does happen!

Default Don't use your car for Cheeze deliveries or for

raising chickens and you'll be just fine.
