Anyone have any good bad or neutral opinins on the sport suspension (which I suspect is just a software tweak) on the D3. I'm considering a 2005 that has the sport suspension and would love to get some real world comparisons.
I had a 2000 A8 and I always found the suspesions too "wallowy" and loose.
TIA

However, I didn't notice any real difference in the feel of the cars. The S8 is very different with the sport having very different characters.

I have the Sport Package on my 2006 A8 and find that the setting for the Sport Suspension does firm the car up significantly, sometimes too much for poorly paved highways. It is great for back roads and around town but I find that most of the time I leave the setting on the Active setting which adjusts automatically to the speed that you are travelling at. The best part of the Sport Package on my car is the paddle shifters on the steering wheel which make merging with traffic and other events much more fun.
