Default RDS not displaying in the cluster

well this is weird.
it was displaying fine, then i had a car in for an oil change and some other little things.
ever since i got a car back cluster doesn't display RDS anymore but either "Presets" or just "FM" below the radio station channel.

i can see RDS text on the screen but not in the cluster anymore!

i went through all the settings and setups and can't locate where i can turn this on and off.

what am i missing??

Try restarting the MMI. I had to do it 3 times once and it finally had the settings come back.

Telephone button + Middle **** + Top right selection key held down for 2-3 seconds.

Default FWIW, I don't understand what the issue is.

Honestly what RDS is and where its displaying isn't something that pops to mind w/ out pulling out my owners manual. Please explain further.

Default RDS is Radio Data System

Displays the name of the station and the song that is playing.

If I understand the question he is still seeing it in MMI display, but not in DIS.

Default Hmmmm

I do not think I see that info in my DIS either, now makes wonder did I see that info before.
I see 60's on 6, 80's on 8 and so on, I will check it out in a few hours to see what info it shows for AM, FM, XM, and CD to see if it actually shows name of station and or song name or just station number or CD track.

That display is "trying " to display a fault like low washer fluid or brake light bulb out etc and is overtaking the RDS screen. Maybe the shop goofed trying to reset the oil change service indicator.
