rear vanity mirror not CPO'D???

hey guys, the rear vanity mirror in my car won't stay shut..dealer is saying it's not covered under CPO warranty..i thought it was.. any ideas?

The only way the vanity mirror should not be covered under CPO would be if the repair was under $50 or if someone actually broke the mirror by mistake. If it is a matter of it not closing and they will not cover it, you should find a new dealer. I just had my rear passenger (Female end) seat belt replaced because the black cover came apart and it would not go back together.....$50 CPO charge to replace. Hope that helps.

Roof is usually intact in a wrecked one. I have seen them on e bay before too.
Or, maybe just some fooling with little stick on bits or reshaping it somehow at the latch point will be sufficient. If all else fails, seal it closed for the final curtain call.
