I've seen a number of ebay stores that sell the Replica 19 12 spoke wheels for roughly 800.00 for a set of 4. Does anyone have these wheels and if so, please comment on the build quality, etc.

Also, can the TPMS be used with these aftermarket wheels?

It makes for a stronger wheel. Usually, the TPMS can be used on these wheels.

Most of the replicas are 8" wide instead of 8.5" and I have yet to see one with a good offset.

The sensors are in the wheels your car comes with. You'll have to take them out of those wheels and transfer them to the new wheels. Sometimes the fitment in aftermarket wheels can be quite tricky, although I wouldn't think you'd have a trouble with the RS4 wheel you're describing. You then have to go through the relatively simple (read your owners manual) procedure of initializing the new wheels.

As for Greenie's sound advice (with which I wholeheartedly agree) about forged wheels, my research revealed that there weren't any forged RS4 19" replicas out there -- or OEM wheels, for that matter, though I believe that the 20" OEMs (at approximately $1000-1200 per wheel, if you can find them: check with AtlasD3Miami) -- were forged. I also discovered that Achtuning carried what many people felt was the far superior (to the $800 wheels) RS4 19"replica wheel for about $1200 for the four.

Incidentally, if you want to see what the 20" forged 9-spoke wheel looks like on a D3, click on my account number and check out the bottom photo in my picture poster. You'll see (and I've been told) that the wheel has a slightly glossier finish than the cast replicas and smaller RS4 wheels.

Any other recommendations on where to get OEM style wheels aside from the dealer? I like the multi-spoke design for this car.
