No cutting needed, unlike the D2 cars. Take out the back seat rest and you'll find a cut out in the heavy vinyl sound deading. If you flip that open, you'll find a hole in the aluminum and a goofy plastic cover over it. Just pop the cover and cut the trunk carpet following the outline of the opening in the aluminum

Okay. And after you cut the trunk carpet you can just snap the "skibag-part" into the hole, and were done?

My daughter just found the ski bag in my car hidden behind armrest. Had a heck of a time getting it back in there! If anyone needs one that's local to me in sure we can make a deal.

I haven't actually gotten around to sourcing one, but yeah that's how it works - there are tabs on it and just clicks into the hole.

Honestly the biggest pain of all this is taking out the back seats; those suckers are heavy.

You must have a different setup.Probably four seat configuration? Mine are ridiculously light for a luxurious car. Just like ones on my daughter's Honda.

I am definitly gonna give it a try then! I can wait with the install of the skibag until later. And as Mishar said I guess you have the electric rear seats? (I don't). Wish I had doh. hehe

And when I do this. I will get some images for a DIY in this thread. Can be usefull.
