The 5.2 V10 in mine has been fine after 2 quarts of oil;
I noticed the low oil level at 1k and 1.5k by checking it manually, not by the engine light, and just like the V10 TDI, I got no more problems after. With the odometer at 2.6k, I checked the car again today; the oil level was up to close max. Except the scratches under the front chin, the car has been a dream machine.

Sorry to report that the pulsing brake problem is back again after a 500 mile highway trip. Has anybody else had this issue with their brakes? I am at my wits end!
