I would like to know this as well.

Do you have rust on your original rotor hats? For some reason my rears are rusted but fronts are clean, must be different metal.

Go for RS brakes. They have better calipers too.

Hi,

So Auchtuning has offered me a full set of Stop tech rotors for $680 shipped. They have painted and drilled hub hats and can be slotted, if desired. I think I might give them a whirl, if I cannot find aluminium 2-piece Ina couple days.

That's way more than OEM and they are most likely not better than OEM. Especially if they make them in China.

Looks like its about 100 more, before shipping. The price I gave is with shipping. That said, stoptech believes they are better then oem, they have been slotted and the hats are painted/ drilled for weight.

Anyway, made in Japan used to be a bad sign of quality...

The RS6 and A8 are both 335x22 mm, although the RS6 rears list for 350 a piece, plus theyre directional. I recently replaced a set and they truly are a race rotor, super light and very well made.

Edit: Note there is a vin cutoff in 05, early ones had smaller rears, to 005001, which were 310x22

I wish it was an option. This is for an s8, which uses a 385mm rotor.
