Police found the CC stripped in a neighboring struggling city called Stockton on Tuesday (about 90 mintues south-southwest of Granite Bay).

Owners are still hopeful to find the S8 though the odds are not good :/

Per the owner's son "S8 was located yesterday. Sunnyvale PD located and pursued the car as it is now linked to serious violent crimes in that area. The car now is "damaged" according to the desk officer. We have a meeting with the detective and to meet with a CSI team who needs another key to get into the trunk... Good thing I guess is that there was an arrest made. I'll find out a lot more Monday."

Amateurs. Without air support or a more high tech approach than fifty 20 year olds in 3 ton Cruisers with extended trunks to accommodate their egos, they should have had the sense to back of, follow it, and make a non-contentious, soft arrest. Too many DVD watching fools in uniform here. Now they have to unravel the mess they have created by adding unnecessary aggression to the case, which may be enough to undermine any previously safe conviction.
Damaged? Failed PITT I suspect. Of course, I may well be completely wrong, but my scenario is one seen all too often..

A uniform does not a police officer make. It makes a person in uniform.

wow, sounds like the crims watched Ronin a few too many times... Lets pick a rare Audi sedan and go commit a violent crime... Guess that is why they are crims.. I wish it was sent to China or Russia, at least someone would have loved it.
