VCDS obsoleted my cable for my 2019 A8L. I'm selling the original cable from ROSS-TECH for $150. Let me know if anyone wants it.

Yea, the crooks did it to my e-golf. It worked perfectly when I got it, now some acronym filled BS excuse why I need to buy a new compatible cable. It still works for my D3 though.

I think they were doing a trade in program. Not sure if still available, but worth a look.

I use obdeleven instead, I can still use it with my Q7, but it's not right because we paid $400 for the cable before

If they do stll have the upgrade option, seriously consider the BT/wireless option, there is no upgrade path from the new cable version to the BT/wireless device.
