Default Side assist sensor blocked

My 2009 A8L has the adaptive cruise and side assist functions. Today it flashed a message saying that the Side Assist sensor is blocked. Anyone know where the sensor is. Is it just one of the parking sensors in the bumper or is it in the side view mirrors.
Thanks, in advance.

behind the rear bumper on the right and left sides, J0769 master and J0770 slave. These are radar transceivers and are not in any way part of the parking system. They can throw the blocked warning in heavy rain.

Thanks, that is good to know, I was considering troubleshooting the rear outer parking sensor... but I'll fish around for the other sensor and make sure it is ok, since the block warning was in clear weather. If it is radar based, who knows maybe I passed by some security system or other radar that set it off.

Do u know how much is to calibrate when you replace the master sensor for J0769? I will replace today but no idea how much can cost calibrate it. For sure cheaper if they do the whole work (bumper and replace part) thanks

I also have a bad sensor and picked one up from a junk yard. Do these sensors have component protection? How much was the calibration?
