Do any of these sound familiar?
Parking brake error keeps popping up on center display.
ABS light and triangle keep popping up on cluster.
Brakes sequel loudly at every stop and seem to be degrading.
When I push the truck close button, the trunk closes by itself, but then reopens.
Driver side headlamp is out.
I have a low vin, but maybe the guy before me just drove the thing..

Never had the parking brake sensor
Have had brake warning light, due to low brake fluid level and remedied on first try by dealer.
The brake squeal seems common, I've had it on all our German cars. Have been told due to compound and brake disc constructions - exception being on a Boxster S we used to own, never had brake squeal there.
The trunk closer issue seems common, there has been a technical service bulletin previously - I had the problem maybe 3-4 times but haven't experienced since the TSB visit to the dealer.
Had the passenger head lamp out, remedied under warranty.
Sounds like yours is an '04 with a low VIN? If it is, pretty par for the course on some of the issues. I've had very little issues with mine since new from October '03 and for reference, I have just over 35,000 miles on the odo.

Don't feel so bad about your dealer, my dealer has a -20 rating... <sigh>
I also have the brake squeal, although I've noticed they don't squeel under agressive braking - maybe it's just my pads... (or my driving) =)
My service advisor said there were 4 TSB's on my car; trunk hinges, trunk closure motor, driver airbag & TPMS software upgrade.
Just be thankful you haven't run into the dreaded windshield wiper stutter. I bring it up on every service appointment and they always give me the same answer: "cannot duplicate" I wish they would just replace the motor and be done with it!
Good luck with your 'laundry list'
