You should first check if the starter is getting power. If not than it is starter relay.

Relays 2 and 3 in the front right footwell.

Thanks Mishar. I appreciate it all. It's gone to my indie for "standard automotive diagnosive techniques" I.e a piece of wire and a bulb. See if that starter is getting juice. Many thanks again. J

are the relays located in the driver footwell or passenger? and can you tell me what numbers they are? thank you!

I may be way off here.....
But I think they are #2, and #3..... in the passenger (if you live in the US) foot well.
