Been having this lately and it's starting to drive me crazy. Be it radio or CD - every other minute or so, I hear a click from the trunk and the Bose goes silent. Two seconds later it's back on.
What's this then? I ran a search, and someone said it was a faulty phone module causing it, but mine works perfectly?
Going on a 6K mile road trip come friday, and I may very well hang myself from the rear view before I've even exited my neighborhood if this continues . . .

The phone module does not cause the amp to power off which is what sounds like is happening with yours, it simply mutes the audio input and switches to the output from the phone or bluetooth AFAIK.
Is your battery good and all the earth connection sound? It could be a poor ground somewhere - check the ground connections in the boot near the battery.

I had a problem that sounds similar to this. It disappeared after the battery was disconnected and reconnected. So I'm guessing it was a loose connection. Give it a try I guess
My date/time used to reset to the "birth day" of the car from the factory every couple of days too. V annoying. Thar fixed it too.

Some of us took advantage of a deal on mp3 capable cd changers, and when one of them replaced his with the new component, the "component protection" kicked in and did the exact same thing to his CD audio. Have you replaced anything recently?

Are you one of us? Was I the only one who had problem with Component Protection?

However, I do get an error for it when I scan the car... but everything still works fine. I am assuming it is from when I installed the bluetooth module and unplugged the CD changer in the process.

I think it is ridiculous and unfair to put Component Protection on a brand new component forcing us to pay to remove it. Please let me know when you install it. May be mine was not as new as it looked.

I get this on hot days. It sounds like you're losing a component momentarily and it's breaking the MOST ring. The question is what component is it. For me it's the ground on my Dension.
