Default Suspension Failure

Guys,

Had my tires rotated yesterday and after it was done, I was driving down the road and the suspension green and yellow lights started blinking. I stopped at tthe store and when I came back the back end seemed a fair amount lower that I can remember. Still getting the fault lights. Has anyone had this happen and if so is there anything that I can look at on my own before it needing to go to the dealership? Thanks.

I Imagine the car was put into "Jack" mode on the MMI. I thought once the car sees 3 MPH, it pops out back to driving mode. Check that. Now, if Jack mode wasn't entered, perhaps one of the "height/distance" sensor arms on each trailing arm popped off of the sensor or trailing arm bracket. Or, worse case it broke or was torn off.

See my picture poster account by clicking on my account number and then go to my album. I've posted photos of the sensors in picture numbers 15 through 24.

Default Agreed...

Likely a dislocated sensor. I have found the jack mode thing does just go away, whether you remember to set it or not (if you don't, the suspension extends more when jacked up, which I suppose could strain/break those plastic sensor arms [so far so good on mine].
