Seems a shame to get rid for what is probably a simple fix.
There must be a fault code for an airbag light so the dealer must be able to at least give you the cause?

Default has the dlr tried the 'Magic-juice-fix' ?

In our shop we have a very tiny bottle of some very expensive fluid that we bought because thats what the Audi dealer uses to coat the pins on airbag connectors that are triggering the airbag light. It does the trick, and only occaisionally do we actually have to replace an airbag. The micro-voltages used by the airbag system are very small so even a corrosion not visible to the eye can affect the current transfer and make the computer think there is a fault. The juice enhances current transfer.

Get the dlr to treat all the airbag connections that are reasonably accessable. Although I would think the VAG COM would tell them which airbag the car's computer is unhappy with.

Try a different dealer. The dealer you are currently using is obviously incompetent, A8L Man.

So dealer says resistance low reading coming from airbag apparently in headliner...wonder how much I'm gonna get screwed for this fix by dealer.
